who we are
Will help to support a project for education, awareness and solutions against the problems associated with female genital mutilation (FGM), illiteracy and poverty around the world especially in the Niger Delta of Nigeria.
Millions of people and families are expected to benefit, including long-term sustainable direct and indirect exponential beneficiaries of some 31 million (estimate) children, young people and adults of more than 40 ethnic groups in the Niger Delta of Nigeria alone.
The fund will go to Gratis-Christi Trust UK (GCT) and Enaikidigha Foundation (EF) to implement the project. EF (Incorporation No.CAC/11/N0 49313) is a Nigeria-based national and international NGO
Our fund raiser campaign is a video production featuring talent exhibition of young and older generation Ijon (Ijaw) ‘oweigiri’ or ‘buttocks rhyme’ dance-music steps you probably never heard off or seen anywhere in the world. The closest to it you may have seen is the Asian ‘Belly Dance’. A snap preview of this nature’s marvellous dance-music rhyme for our talent exhibition video production can be seen at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uP7fj9sBjp4 (YouTube and King Robert Ebizimo, 2009, acknowledged).
